Client Feedback: Turkey's Lycian Coast (Bike and Boat)

I wanted you know these thoughts about the Turkish Lycian Coast (Bike and Boat) while they’re still fresh. Some of our riders have been exchanging emails and pictures and their comments have been excellent. Our seven nights on the boat were superb...The staff and guides were extremely attentive, professional, and polite to us.  It was a beautiful, comfortable ship. The food was served promptly and professionally and was delicious!  Having a bar available of course kept us happy! Marmaris, Fethiye and Gocek were nice port towns to visit, others quiet coves. The two bike guides, Ali and Yasin, were opposite personality types who worked perfectly as a team.  Ali was strong and confident and gave us our ‘orders’ each morning and evening.  He laid it out how it would be and we pretty much stuck to that routine.  The big choice was whether you planned to ride or stay on the boat that day.   Yasin was the knowledgeable guide who seemed to know everything about the Turkish customs, its people, the geography, the places we saw and the history.  His talks followed Ali’s briefing each time.  His knowledge was endless.  He made our rainy day interesting.  It was mid-week and no one seem to mind relaxing on the boat and later that afternoon we were able to take in a sightseeing land tour by a smaller transfer boat. Every day was well planned and thought out.  Transportation was provided when we needed a boost up some of the steep long climbs. Some did bike the whole way. The guides also arranged for us to be driven to an authentic Turkish bath.  What a treat for tired, sore bodies the last afternoon! I have been pleased with all the nice comments and want you to know that Island Hopping Tours does a great job, and we were quite pleased with our bike and boat tour!   Gloria Colley Team BRAG
