Join us at the Southeast Bike Expo

While we're an international company representing operators and serving clients all over the world, BikeToursDirect calls the Southeast United States "home" -- Chattanooga, Tennessee to be precise. That's why we're really excited to be participating in the Southeast Bike Expo next month in nearby Atlanta, Georgia. We're providing an awesome door prize for the event (details on the free tour to be given away below!) and will have a booth. We hope to see some of our clients and industry partners there, so be sure to drop by our booth!

Dolomites bicycle tour door prize
One lucky Expo attendee will win a one-week bike tour in the Dolomites, with their choice of a leisurely route in the Austrian and Slovenian portion of the region or a more challenging mountain biking tour in the Italian Dolomites.

The Dolomites, part of the Italian Alps, are considered to be one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. Most of your route will follow ancient military and forestry roads in the northeast of Italy, along the Austrian border. Evidence remains from the many World War I battles that took place in this region, with trenches and tunnels visible from the cycling route. You'll ride through three language areas and their related cultures: starting in the German-speaking Alta Pusteria, then through the Ladin-speaking Fanes, and ending in the Passo Falzàrego, where the Italian language finally dominates. The grandeur of the Dolomites can be fully appreciated by mountain bike -- the breathtaking scenery, magnificent mountain vistas, and world-class riding.

Starting in the northeastern Dolomites in Austria, the first part of the tour follows comfortable bike paths along the River Drau and through the Gail Valley. After a short detour to the Italian border town of Tarvis, you continue on to Slovenia and its picturesque Lake Bled. This is an ideal spot to relax before the transfer to the south side of the Alps and the famous wine area of Collio. The final stage of the tour takes you through spectacular countryside to the Adria coast. On the final day, you ride alongside the sea to the former Habsburg port of Trieste.

How to win?
Take advantage of early registration online ($10/day until Feb. 17) for one chance to win. Then at the event, stop by our booth to say "hi!" and enter for a second chance to win!

Miss the early registration deadline? General admission is $20 on the day of the event, and you can still get one shot at the Dolomites bicycle tour by stopping by our booth.
