Croatia Now Open to American Travelers. Free Cancellation. No Deposit Required!

Croatia has now opened its borders to Americans, and our local tour partners have changed their policies to offer risk-free booking

In short: Book now. Pay later. Free cancellation.

Specifically, on tours starting before September 2021:

  • No deposit is required
  • Make full payment 31 days before departure.
  • Cancel up to 31 days before departure with no penalties.

Travel to any place in Europe in the coming months may feel like it did in days long gone: unique, bold, pioneering, and absolutely no crowds.

The CDC currently advises against travel to Croatia, and you may not feel comfortable traveling even if you’ve been vaccinated. But by summer or even earlier, things may have changed dramatically for the better.

If not, you can cancel without penalty.

If things have improved, then you’ve beaten the rush, that “pent-up demand” we keep hearing about. Your booking will be in place while other travelers line up to be on waiting lists. And you can keep your travel dreams alive.

You can view all our tours in Croatia at https://www.biketours.com/croatia. Note that tours that leave Croatia for bordering countries may have different entry requirements and are not eligible for this promotion.

Please note: As with most international destinations now and for the foreseeable future, there will be conditions for entry. You must present proof of negative test results, vaccination, or certification that you’ve had COVID. More details here

The United States also currently requires a negative COVID test for re-entry into the country, and the operators are working to make testing available at the end of their tours.

And in case you haven’t seen our short “Virtual Bike Tour in Croatia” video, please enjoy!
